This TP LINK media converter is designed to convert 100BASE-FX fibre to 100Base-TX copper media or the opposite way. The TP LINK is designed to be used with single mode fibre cable utilizing the SC-Type connector.

 > Supports longwave (LX) laser specification at a full wire speed-forwarding rate.

 > It works at 1310nm on both transmitting and receiving data. 



 > Auto MDI/MDI-X for TX port, Auto negotiation of duplex mode on TX port and front panel status LEDs.

 > Able to be used as a stand alone device (no Chassis required)

 > Able to be used with TP-LINK’s 19†system chassis

 > Will transmit at extended fibre optic distances utilizing single-mode fibre up to 20 kilometers.
